Actually, there's been a lot of betting about what the kid's name will be. I've gone with Kong. Ok, it might not be funny right now, but in a few decades time...
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I`m proud to be a republican.

Me too, and I'm British.

Trouble is, being a British republican is like being a gay Muslim, very unpopular, and liable to get you lynched if the royalists find you.

I must say I'm pleased to have read she had the baby naturally. Kate's not too Posh to push. And he's a big guy for a first baby, 8lbs 6oz. I find this info more interesting than the station he was born into.

What a miserable, undeserved fate that almost innocent, nearly human, larve is born into. To forever be a costumed amusement park performer who would never, ever, gets to go home at night. Devil

I'm british and fail to see why one rich woman squeezing out a pup is more important than hundreds of "ordinary" women doing the same thing every day. (I was very excited when my kids were born, but didn't expect anyone else to be too interested)

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups

Still waiting for the news, "extra extra Royal Family is completely infertile" over here.

THEN let me see what they think of not letting adopted children be in their lineage!

Because your fellow countrymen indulge the sense of self-importance of that one inbred family?

Well, this current British royal line was drudged from Saxony. If it becomes extinct, then tradition would call for some more drudging of the bottom of the barrel for the residues from other inbred, previously royal, lineages from the rest of Europe to keep the royal circus in London going.

Actually it's people from all over the world, and I'm British and as I just said in the thread opener I don't know anyone who is interested in the royal family, the way you talk in most threads it's like you hate British people for some reason.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
