How not to make Muslims angry.

If chaos and anarchy is your thought of what it means to be civilized, by all means. I generally pick order and restraint as the basis for civilization.

Words really don't count here. I don't know you, you don't know me. We do not look into eachother's eyes, we do not see eachother's faces, so insulting me right here will simply cause me to end the conversation because I can do that here. Though I cannot end the conversation in real life situations. I have something that I call pride and self-respect. When someone insults me, he has to pay a price, for I am no dog that you can spit on that will walk away after that.

Order and restraint are required for the control of wild animals. They are dangerous. The wilder the animal the stricter the restraint.

Civilized people, on the other hand, have more freedom, they can be trusted with a lot more and are usually well behaved when having sex, drinking alcohol, making business deals, looking after their wives and children and even when they walk around naked in public.

Uncivilized people need very strict rules like Sharia law.

It is a sign of order and restraint when the dissident can speak freely. If he is killed for his words by the mobs, its a sign of chaos and anarchy. If you truly do choose order and restraint, then you wouldn't react physically to verbal insults.

Yes, you can.

That attitude is indicative of hollow pride and absent self-respect. If your pride and self-respect can be damaged by someone else's words and you need to defend it by any means necessary, then you really need to re-evaluate the grounds it is built on. Either the insult given to you is true, in which case it'll hurt your pride because it deserved to be hurt or it is a lie, in which case it won't bother you. The more uncertain you are of your own pride and self-respect, the more vigorously you'll fight to defend it.

And what is it with you and dogs? What did they ever do to you that you are always talking about being treated like one?

Obviously, he/she/it treats animals poorly. Why would spit and kick a dog? Did the dog attack you?

Pride can and have started wars, and for what? Vanity! Most Muslims are so insecure of their vanity, and how they appear to other Muslims. That is why you have force marriages, honor killings, and so on. They treat outsiders like crap, and it suppose to be peaceful. The competition causes so many issues. The belief that god is on your side, because you are fortunate to have inherited wealth is sad and pathetic.

I don't, but I certainly can, and they really won't object, other than perhaps fighting back if I treat them a bit too rough.

And well, I really have no idea what you're talking about. In Turkish society, there are no forced marriages, or honour killings, other than the case in which the honour of two men is under question, in which case, it is for men to decide.
Besides, I don't know how one can be "insecure of one's vanity", while vanity means that one is simply too secure about oneself. I don't see this among too many muslims, as I feel that many muslims are today insecure, which is the reason that they are losing. If they had any shred of pride left, they(by which I mean muslims like the rich Arabs) would shed the shackles of the west, and fight. Yet as again, it is up to us, the Turks to save the pride of the muslims, as we have done before.

Besides, I don't think you've come to have a taste of our famous hospitality. We would feed and clothe you, and give you a place to stay even if you were an outsider. Though being an outsider, you obviously do not appreciate our hospitality, as you're foreign to the concept in your own country. Best you stay away from places you don't understand. Some, who are as you, have come here, and have forgotten their place as guests and have acted in ways as though as they are masters of the place, desecrating our flags and national symbols, and they have suffered the consequences. Those who have respected us, on the other hand, have been treated in the best way we can treat a person, more so than our own, as we value guests in our house. But we will not stand for troublemakers!

Try experimentally verifying it.

If its left to the two men to decide, then its still barbaric.

That's where you are wrong. Again. Pride can be a sign of high self-esteem, but isn't so necessarily. Especially when it comes to this aggressive display you are guilty of. Take a look at this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pride

Wikipedia Wrote:Hubris and group pride

Hubris itself is associated with more intra-individual negative outcomes and is commonly related to expressions of aggression and hostility (Tangney, 1999). As one might expect, Hubris is not necessarily associated with high self-esteem but with highly fluctuating or variable self-esteem. Excessive feelings of hubris have a tendency to create conflict and sometimes terminating close relationships, which has led it to be understood as one of the few emotions without any clear positive or adaptive functions (Rhodwalt, et al.). Several studies by UC Davis psychologist Cynthia Picket, have shown that groups that boast, gloat or denigrate others tend to have low social status or be vulnerable to threats from other groups.[19] Claiming that "hubristic, pompous displays of group pride might actually be a sign of group insecurity as opposed to a sign of strength," she believes that those that express pride by humbly focusing on members' efforts and hard work tend to have high social standing in both the public and personal eyes.

You happen to fit the criteria perfectly.

That's actually quite a horrible way of treating your guests, especially given your idea of what it means to "respect" you.

Hmmm No honor killings or force marriage in Turkey you say!

Honor Killings

Forced Marriages

I am sorry, but you are blinded by your pride over Islam and Turkish Laws. You lie to yourself with the problems with this cult of self loathing and destruction. You treat other animals beneath you, and yet display barbaric actions over a stupid book and ideas (which never change). Displaying barbaric actions over a few words is not a civilized place/town/country.

This famous hospitality you're on about. How long can a well behaved stranger come and stay with you? Free boarding and lodging I mean.
