Come get your all-American, bi-partisan voter nose-plugs here! Whether your a libertarian expecting to get thrown under the bus by your GOP candidate or a progressive anticipating being used and discarded by the Democrat candidate once the election is over, we make the process a little more bearable.

Now available in conservative red, independent white or liberal blue. Make a fashion statement and a political statement at the same time when you go to vote.

For those expecting a really painful post-election season, we're selling our special lubricant. We also sell an app with a *.wav computer simulation of your congressperson's voice cooing "but you know I love you baby", which you can play with a press of a button every time you go to check the news online.

Which would be great except for the fact that for each step of progress in ares like gay rights there has been equal, if not more, regress in areas like individual liberty, due process and general authoritarianism.

I just thought I would point out that the results of the poll currently show a rather nice bell curve, slightly more slumped towards the disapprove end, but not by much.

I noticed that too. Very interesting... my perception before this poll was that most of us agree on specific issues, such as gay rights, abortion, and the drug war, to name a few. I wonder if I was off on that idea.

My views are similar to Creed's.

RE: Americans: How much do you approve of the Obama administration?
I abstained in 2008, and voted for Obama in 2012, not because I think he's the best choice, but because he was the least offensive of the those who had any chance of winning.

"Hope and Change" in 2008 was campaign bullshit, eaten up by disillusioned voters.

I do appreciate the few things that he's accomplished, but overall, I'm left with the undeniable fact that his administration has continued a shitload of Bush policies, and we're still on the steady march towards an authoritarian police state. By some measures, we're already there.

I disapprove of Obama less than his predecessor.

And that would be a valid criticism were it not for the fact that we'd likely be even worse off with a president lacking the support of either major party and completely screwed with another iteration of Bush.

Seriously if there's only one thing that can get opposite sides of the political spectrum to come together in agreement it's the political machinations of our so-called "representatives."

WRONG. That honor belongs to men like Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Kennedy. Obama is at best a mid-ranking president and at worst destined to be remembered as a man of hollow promises, feeble actions, and one of the most determined expansionists of government power into citizens' private lives.
