He's the fall guy. It's not our fault. Satan made us do it. It's that bastard's fault.

But God says, no. It's really your fault. So you have atone for it.

Humans: But he did it. That Satan guy.

God: Tough shit, you atone for it. You sin, human.

Humans: Ok, well fuck. I take the blame. Wait, why did you loose Satan on humanity?

God: Oh, to temp you to sin.

Humans: Wait, I thought you said we're sinful creatures from birth.

God: Yep.

Humans: So why did you loose Satan on us to temp us to sin?

God: Just shut the fuck up and do what I said.

Does he walk down the street in broad daylight, whispering to people? "Psst...by the way, the sky is actually made of water." Sounds pretty ineffective to me. People can make bad choices all on their own; why is Satan necessary?

Satan is not an omniscient omnipresent being, he has to pick his battles, so he fries the big fish, small mullets like yourself are of no real concern to him, your doing yourself in, so why does he need to worry about you. Besides you've bought into one of the big fish, he cast a large net getting many at one time.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Or he doesn't exist, so attributing anything to him is a philosophy of ignorance.

Since you believe this there should be no reason to continue with a dead end.

A question GC, if the universe is only 6000 years old but god made it look billions of years old doesn't that make god the biggest liar of all?

I never said the world was 6000 years old and many creationist do not believe it's 6000 years old. God created everything with age to it, so why not the earth, why should it be an exception, and why wouldn't people realize that the earth is no exception. What has this got to do with prayer, that's the OP.

It's a tangent, and they are allowed. It's not like there's a thread judge that you can voice your objections to. If you're taking issue with the question not relating to the OP, then why did you answer it?

You assume to much all the time, I did not object to the question that's why I answered. After that I asked my own question, you need to quite looking for your attitude in others and look at what a person actually says.

You totally missed my point didn't you.
You are condemning satan as the princes of lies, yet by making the universe look old if it is only young god is the biggest liar of all.
Or are you deliberately avoiding that issue?
