If everyone simply stated I don't know, there would never be any progress in anything. Rather than seek answers, people would shrug and state the truly ridiculous and ignorant I don't know.
Being agnostic is just as dumb as being a theist. Whereas theists fill in the gaps of knowledge with something that cannot be proven to exist, the agnostic makes the claim I don't know if there is knowledge for anything.

Right.. well this is fairly troubling. I can sort of imagine under what circumstances you must be in, but for the purposes of our discussion this is no where near an explanation for why you think God exists. It's simply external matters that are non-evidentially/philosophically related that have pushed you to be a theist. Therefore, for you to say that you don't see any reason for God to not exist is pure nonsense if you didn't rationally come to a belief in God.
Why should we be expected to argue against a position you didn't reason yourself into?

Until intelligent life other than humanity can be positively and verifiably proven, then I will not believe that other intelligent life is possible. I am an atheist. An agnostic may state it is possible, but I would rather follow the current evidence until I am proven wrong.

Preferring fantasy over reality may give you the impression that you are making sense, but for anything to be considered real there has to be verifiably, objective evidence to support its existence. You can play pretend all day long, to your heart's content, but at the end of the day your imaginings are just that.

Using your own criteria maelstrom you wouldn't be able to function as a human being (from your postings here that may actually be true). Maybe you've had your brain removed and do rely on instinctual drives. Your proofs make you more dumb with every post. To you reality IS a fantasy. It certainly isn't recognisable to thinking people.

The type of proof you have claimed cannot be given, obviously. Therefore, as far as any logical individual is concerned, your god is not real.

That's fairly easy, though: how does one verify the existence of, say, the ace of hearts in an unopened pack of cards?
All of the things you might think of for that would apply equally well when applied to god. Existential claims are really very easy; the problem you're having is that you don't have any way to verify that your god's existential claim is true, but are desperate to hold onto it anyway. In order to accomplish this, you theists have made an art of crudely twisting logic and reality into awkward shapes to preserve your untenable belief.
Or hell, maybe you can demonstrate your claim. I'm not going to discount that possibility.
