Attn: Theists - What would it take to prove you wrong?

I accept that you say you didn't notice this, and was unaware of your gaff.

Thanks for your concern. I have some strange forum bug, and the negativity I usually manage to happily ignore its turning me to the dark side.

Continue being ignorant concerning the burden of proof by shifting it, Gollum.

No one goes around attempting to disprove that for which there is no evidence.

Theist standing there with no baseball in hand.

Atheist approaches and and the theist mentions having a baseball in his hand.

The atheist says, "Prove to me you have a baseball in your hand."

The theist states, "Prove I don't."

The theist way of thinking is quite illogical.

Actually, at that point Theo was addressing me directly. If this isn't the post you're looking for, I'll be happy to move along.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Stimbo says that you own that burden maelstrom. Just to clarify, you aim your rebuke equally at him right?

That post precisely makes my point. Theo was perfectly correct, and you as good as said no one here fit the bill, whilst posting alongside such an imbecilic example, therefore giving the perpetrator an easy out. One which he still takes.

There is no evidence for the existence of god. Therefore, god does not exist.

There is your proof.

Now, care to explain what is so logical about believing in something for which there is no evidence?

How can you be sure, as you are, that there is no evidence maelstrom? You can disagree with me on what would constitute evidence is all. There is no definite you can claim, unless there it's something you're not telling us, or you have supernatural powers and can know that no God exists in the supernatural realm, the only place theists claim God to exist.

To claim that God doesn't exist in this reality with objective proofs, only supports the theistic position. It doesn't challenge it.

Tens of thousands of years of human evolution. We have been to moon, but evidence for god cannot be found? You do the math.

Even though the claim that god doesn't exist cannot be "proven", it has a lot to do with the evolving idea of a god, and the fact that you can't really pin it down to one definition for everyone.

Even though it has yet to be proven, it has more supporting evidence than the opposite claim that god exists. Simply because so many gods have been created and found to be false and because there has been no positive prove of god at all. When a being is said to have an effect on earth, as it is, and this effect cannot be found, it's more far fetched to conclude this being exist than to lean towards this being doesn't exist.

theists and anti-theists are not standing on the same level when it comes to which has more supporting evidence for their claim.

Well I'm sure all theists here will join me in thanking you for your support of our theism maelstrom.

That's quite rare for an atheist. Kudos.

I have mentioned before about "argument from ignorance" but there is no response from your. So let's talk about this.

This is from Wikipedia about Argument from ignorance:

A false dilemma may take the form:
...
* If a proposition has not been proven, then it cannot be considered true and must therefore be considered false.

Wikipedia said that the above is a false dillema. It also said that Argument form ignorance is a fallacy in informal logic.

Let's discuss about this. Let's start with this: do you agree about that article on Wikipedia?
