SoC, for some reason, I imagine you to be in your early fourties, just a guess, maybe its the way you write. So I fear that this advice I am about to give you is coming too late but I shall give it anyway: Please don't breed. Please don't damage anyone else.
'The more I learn about people the more I like my dog'- Mark Twain
'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House
“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom
"If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech

I've been using logical proofs that fit with the Biblical definition of God and of course the universe as we understand it through science. If it works then it works. Atheism wouldn't work because what you lack is a cause for the effect.
Quote:Man creating in his mind that which does not exist has been happening since the beginning of humanity,[quote]
The Bible warns against people doing this of course. Idol worship and so on, carving out imaginary gods from wood and stone.
[quote] and your god is held to the same logic to which everything else imaginary is held.
But God logically accounts for existence as being the causeless cause of everything. As I have demonstrated here. The alternative you're suggesting is that the "universe exists just because it exists" which is like saying "there is no reason at all for anything to exist" but you may as well say "there is no reason for objects to fall to the ground" or "there is no reason for lightning to be created" or "there is no reason why birds can fly in the air". How much science would get done if we all thought like you but didn't apply the double standard as you're applying? "There is a reason for those things but there isn't a reason for all things" is a double standard. There is a reason for those things AND a reason for all things and the reason for all things is God. You can work this out logically without faith.
Quote: If there is no proof for its existence, logically there is no reason to assume that it does.
The proof is all around you everywhere you look, so you don't know you're looking at it.
Come all ye faithful joyful and triumphant.

Contradiction is a part of Gods nature yes.
Then for the love of all that is (un)holy, how in hades would you expect to be able to prove anything about your contradictory god using logic, which has a fundamental law that demands non-contradiction? Are you stupid?
If that's what you're trying to do, you're using a bloody chainsaw to drive a screw.
Are you aware of the term "cognitive dissonance"?

No, he does not, especially since there is no proof to support his existence.

God isn't a blind random force but a being and we are in the image of this being. This is why we have ability to reason, to think in terms of ethics and morality and so on. If you take science that is derived from our ability to understand the universe in which we live and harness the natural forces of Gods creation. The creation isn't some kind of random collocation of atoms but was formed out of an initial constructive order. We are the intended outcome or effect of this process God set into motion as the first cause or prime mover.
You do realise that you're going to have to support each and every one of these assertions, don't you? Not merely state them as fact without establishing first that they are facts. Otherwise you leave yourself wide open to Hitchens' Razor: "What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence".
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Stop. No. You are arguing, by your own admission, for something contradictory. Logic cannot do this, according to its own laws.
You are employing absurdity.

Beautifully put. God is a lot less romantic than dragons, but still.
