I just finished a project in my driveway yesterday and I'm pretty proud of it. I thought it might be fun to see what sort of projects you all have worked on recently. Build any cars? Bicycles? Paintings? Card houses?...GARDEN ADDITIONS?? *ahem ahem...whateverist..cough, cough* Show me your creations! Here's mine:

I recently bought a Jeep and it has a removeable hard-top. It weighs a little under 200 lbs. We've had beautiful weather lately and I wanted to be able to drive up and down the beach with the top off, but my 110 lb girlfriend was not much help in assisting me. I don't have a garage, so my plan was to create a hoist assembly that I could use operate by myself to lift off the top. I had to figure out a way to use a tree branch as my boom.

"It can't be done" they said. "Get a soft top", they told me..."You'll shoot your eye out!" they said...BOO YAHH!!....

Darwinian, Those are great! Are they poured resin or something?

Here are a random smattering of mine, you'll notice a theme pretty quickly, I think Wink

Built a 6 foot tall cat tree (the tiger on the wall in the background is a pastel I did a long time ago)

@Darwinian, those are awesome! I saw chess pieces like that when I was in hong kong, they sell it in those markets they have. But they had a more traditional chinese theme and each piece looked like a soldier with cool armour and stuff, no zombies, XD.

@Clueless, I love the dolls, really really cute.

I might upload some drawings when my camera gets fixed, but everyone is so pro this thread is so intimidating now.

We get a new one of those every week. Our cat still doesn't think it's enough.
