RE: Non-creationists, show me your creations!!!

A couple years ago, I decided to build a guitar from a kit. It's a Saga copy of a Gibson SG. I decided to add a Bigsby vibrato which turned out to be about as expensive as the rest of the guitar turned out to be. The headstock is a rampant lion with the legend "F-slayer," inspired by this fanfic.
It's the one in the center.
I'm considering doing a copy of a Gibson Firebird next.

@ Rev. Rye, that's pretty cool! It's never occurred to me before that you could buy a kit and build your own guitar... Though in hindsight I watch How It's Made so it shouldn't be that big a shocker... :p
@ Fifth Element, what rendering/modeling program(s) did you use? That looks really good! I did my final studio project when I was in architecture school in Sketchup and rendered with SU Podium.
@ Ivy, the face-squish on the little one in the bottom photo is precious!

Lightwave 10 for rendering, I stopped buying upgrades since ver.10 cuz it became ridiculously expensive to do so...
Not big fan of Sketchup, I prefer Silo as modeling environment, much cleaner then anything else I ever tried, still upgrading Vue though, love rendering in it as well

It's the one in the center. Neat, I've got an Art & Lutherie as well, nice guitars (although mine isn't as sexy as yours it still sounds great).

Sketchup may not be a totally fantastic program but the one thing it is is FREE and that's music to a broke college students' ears.
I'll have to look into Lightwave if I ever return to rendering; yours look really great.
