Question for our resident creationist(s)
RE: Question for our resident creationist(s)
Totally agree! In this day and age there is no excuse for your ignorance. All the information in the world is at your fingertips. Its not that you are too lazy to look this stuff up, its that your religious defence mechanisms cause you to see things through a religious lense. Also it seems your ego will not allow you to think you are wrong.
'The more I learn about people the more I like my dog'- Mark Twain

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House

“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

"If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech

If you can find just one scentist that says; "theory is fact", (as you've ignorantly stated over and OVER) I'll agree with you! If not stfu.

Uh huh.

Actually, saying theories are MADE of facts is more accurate. Seriously, why do you keep making yourself look like the biggest dumbass, besides the fact you probably are?

Do you think I'm going to allow you to forget the ignorant shit you were wrong about in the first place? You're not going to derail this with a semantic argument you started: you're demonstrably wrong about your initial claim on water. Accept it, and move on.

As to your other claim... Theories aren't facts. Theories are constellations of facts. So you're some amazing multiplicity of wrong, here: theories are so many facts, all at once.

Theories change in a way you're not comprehending, ronedee. We don't dismiss an old theory; rather, it is simply updated with changes based on new facts and evidence.

It always degenerates, yeah? This only applies when the speaker is incorrect though.

Here's some advice from a pic, ronedee...

Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
