Well seeing as death is the end, the price can only be paid while you are alive...

When I was a kid and got into trouble I would prey to god to help me, gods help came in the form of a beating. later I tried to sell my soul to the devil in exchange for help, guess what? help came in the form of a beating. (yep went down the i believe in Satan road bollox before reading "Clavicula Solomis" and wondering why I needed to have a devout love, fear etc for the christian god to become an occultist) and then got really confused, then realised it was all boloox. I know the selling your soul thing didn't happen as that was 30 odd years ago, and you are only supposed to get 7 years of enjoyment before your rather nasty death and eternal hell fire.

Wow what an oppressive experience of religion you have suffered A. I'd agree with your summary.

Cheers, I used to get bullied at school on a daily basis because i was a quiet easy target, sometimes i would have a bunch beat me up for fun, I would go home bleeding tattered and torn and then get beaten for "not turning the other cheek and fighting" FIGHTING it was bloody genocide, and they seemed to care more about the condition of the school uniform than me. But the biggest thing that turned me of was the humiliation i suffered when i asked questions in Sunday School, about animals and "how come they could have kangaroos back then for the ark when Australia was comparatively only newly discovered", and "why did god kill the dinosaurs" and other innocent (11year old) questions like that, i didn't get answers i got abuse and humiliation, which i quickly learned was because the teacher didn't know the answer. At least I wasn't sexually abused like some kids have been/will be, so I cannot say my treatment was that bad A

What do you mean when you say "when Australia was comparatively only newly discovered"?

well compared with the time of the flood (which i think was referring to the time the Mediterranean basin flooded, the land bridge between Gibraltar and Africa separating in an earthquake, causing the waters to flood in, many hundreds of years before the bible was invented) Australia is comparatively newly discovered.

Ah. I think the question of how Kangaroos got on the ark, all the way from Australia, would have been more appropriate.

Well isn't it obvious? Clearly God (in the form of a pillar of fire at night, and in day clouds) parted the water and led 2 kangaroos all the way to Noah

Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
God picked them off outside time and made them appear at the right spot ...except this isn't really fact ppl!
