I feel that it is always better to question then to live in ignorant bliss. Smile

The original poster provided several reasons for abandoning Christian faith. What made you take the extra step and abandon religion entirely? Why did you take the stance of atheism?

Ignorance is only bliss until you have to pay for it. Knowledge is valuable, because you always know what you're going to have to pay Smile

On your view there is no price to pay, at least after death at least. Ether way the same price has to be paid.
