I don't know what kind of afterlife Satan intends to lead, but all the fun people are going to be there so I have to believe it will be better than heaven. Besides, who doesn't want to catch up with Albert Einstein in the afterlife and talk shop?

If Heaven is all "light"... I would tend to think Hell would be all "darkness".

How could a "god" feel disappointment? He would know how to make happen his desired outcome. He would know he has no restraints for achieving that outcome at any time he wished.

Free will dictates that God would not force our choices, so He doesn't force an outcome. God's desire is that none should perish, yet many will and that hurts God, just as when you lose a loved one to death.

When someone I care for dies, I feel sad because I can't see them anymore. God can see anyone anytime he likes, even if they are in hell.

A more apt analogy is whether a psychopathic torturer loves his children he has in the basement dungeon screaming from excruciating pain, enduring punishment for not obeying him. They were also not taught how to behave by their father to avoid this unforgiving punishment, but had to try to pick up the rules from other kids. Does he really feel disappointment?
