Why do religious people log onto this site?

Godschild has a weird fetish for people insulting his paleolithic cognitive development. It's why he goes so far out of his way to say things which inspire precisely that response.

Within the church one usually hears the positive things that do not make Christians uncomfortable, here I do get questions that challenge me, I like that, it gives me a greater reason to investigate what's in scripture.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I wish I had a book with all the answers. Instead I have a bible and 2 recipe books.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

You have to understand that everything GC says is a load of shit. Like all of them he is terrified that his bullshit might not be true and can't face it.

Too bad it doesn't mention anything about shitty puns.

It makes them feel like they went out to the battle field against Goliath.

It's the opportunity here to strengthen your faith by seeing the state of the arguments of those who would seek to deny the eternal living God. The chances of converting anyone who you argue against is slim to none though if someone is on the fence and unsure sees the arguments for and against they come to see the stronger side of the argument. The stronger side of the argument being that God does exist of course.
Come all ye faithful joyful and triumphant.

Claims offered without evidence can and will be dismissed without evidence. If you think otherwise, I have a red bridge in San Francisco, US, that I can sell you for a reasonable price.

The stronger side of the argument is that god exists?

Do you have any actual evidence to back that claim up?

Or is it the usual list of baseless assertions, admonishments to "just have faith" and pathetic excuses for why you don't have any evidence?
