I was never religious, but I do feel religion owes me something. That something is a cassette version of the Public Enemy album "Apocalypse '91...The Enemy Strikes Black." When I was thirteen I lent it to a friend of mine that had super fundy parents that only allowed him to listen to wholesome Christian radio. His dad caught him listening to it, and despite my friend's pleas that it wasn't his, his dad snapped it in half.

Oh, sure, but seeing as how I don't know much about the details of how that affected him, my griping about my cassette made for a better post.

What a asshole for a father. I bet he went through quite the rebellion stage. Still i hope all turned out well for him. Did he leave the faith?

He hated Christianity even at that point, so there wasn't anything for him to leave. I stopped hanging around him a few years later, so I don't know exactly how he turned out. I've seen him around, and he definitely doesn't look Christian.

Here, have a digital copy which can last a lifetime (unlike the cassette)

Thanks, but I don't actually want the cassette for the sake of having the cassette. I'm actually a bit of an audiophile and can't stand listening to such a low quality recording.
This is about principle and the fact that it's not right to break other people's stuff, even if you believe that's what Jesus wants you to do.
