Your assume the belief system of the likes of Wooters, drich, GC, Ronedee, SW, etc, is connected in any way to reality and is therefore suspectible changes through additional exposure to reality.

Whe the west attempted the demonstrate through advanced technology that christianity was right, the tanible results were blessedly mixed.

It could be they would just kind of know whats going on in general like some kind of Warhammer 40K or Star Wars scenario where they don't have religions they just have various gods and/or powers that exist and can be demonstrated. In ages past religion was seen more like that seeing no-one really knew how the world worked, if you were ill it was because a demon was possessing your body for instance so these things were simply real and part of your life.
