Still sick but much better. Just chilling in bed after everyone took their leave and the Christmas parties came to a halt.

Some of you guys may remember it, from late August... My dad was in the hospital.
He left it about a week ago and is now staying with me. Good old family christmas! He's spent too long in a hospital bed and is now slowly recovering his ability to walk. Crohn's disease and an ileostomy won't let him eat some things.. specially fatty stuff, sugary stuff, fibrous stuff. So.... christmas stuff is mostly out of his reach... still, bacalhau works. With some luck, he'll be walking by himself within a month; the ileostomy will be undone within 6 months and, by next christmas, he'll be back to his old self, although still with some food restrictions. So, what have I been up to?... taking care of the old man!

That's great, it's very kind of you to take care of him and I'm glad he's doing well. Hope he continues to improve!
I can sympathise to some extent, I have chronhs disease and I have to have a very restricted diet. Even eating a few raw carrots could kill me, I've come close before. I have to eat very low fibre stuff. Feel free to send me a private message.
