Hating AutoCAD.

It won't let me add a user-defined custom post-script page size to my saved paper sizes even though I've done it three times before!

I've spent all afternoon trying to figure this out. Internet isn't helping. "Go to this dialogue box, click on this tab and select 'Add'" Well, what do you do when it won't give you the option of selecting 'Add'?!?!

As with all software that won't let you do something it should, create a new document, copy all the stuff from the old to the new and then add your extra bit.

Well, Luckie's still recovering from surgery, and after that she'll be going through what I can conservatively estimate to be weeks of physical training and rehabilitation to get her strength back, while her insides heal, so... free time for visitors might be lacking. Not that we don't appreciate the offer, but for right now Luckie probably won't be in any shape/mood to be meeting people.

On the bright side, there seem to be a lot of transmission and distribution (electrical sub-station and transmission line) design positions opening up currently. I've got experience in the field and I fucking hated going to work in the petroleum industry so this may be a good thing in the end.

It's a modification to a printer setting (adding a saved custom paper size) so it doesn't matter which file I'm in when I'm modifying it or not, the modification itself is happening through the Plotter Manager or the Printer Properties menus and it simply won't give me the option I need to create the paper size.

Fuck it. I'm going home.

CM, is your PUBLISHCOLLATE system variable set to 1 or 0? That one variable seems to be the source of more printing misery than all others combined. Whatever the setting, try the opposite.
