What? No pants? Not even fruit of the looms? No pants. It's probably all off and scattered around the house now.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I think I figured out what the allergy is. Ragweed. We have had an explosion of ragweed this year, and when I mow the lawn, (which I did two days ago) he spends the entire night scratching and chewing himself bloody. I am buying a hypoallergenic A/C Filter, the doggy door's closed, and we will be going on walks to do our business in the morning and when I get home from school/work. Limiting outside time is what it's all about. Poor boy.
Poor pup... give him benadryl. It's safe and it works. We had a pittie that was allergic to grass and we would give him benadryl. Worked like a charm.

He's on benadryl. He's built up a tolerance...

Aw, Tanner! Poor guy (and poor Steel too)
I just got back from meeting the lady who's husband doesn't "allow" her to go to peoples' houses... not Mormon! She is here for a while taking care of her sick mother, but she's lived in Saudi Arabia for thirty years, married to a Muslim Saudi who also has another wife who she's never met. We had a forty-minute conversation about lashes and beheadings and how they "aren't that bad". She said she couldn't be happier, but then went on to tell me how she's not allowed to drive or file for divorce; she feels "protected" because of these things.
I'm a little shell shocked right now. I never thought I'd have that conversation, and I certainly didn't expect it today. Wow.

My girlfriend's dog has food allergy - We don't know exactly to what as well, or if any of the dog foods has components that trigger the allergy, but he ate anti-allergic food for a while and he was ok - He now eats regular dog food that doesn't seem to cause allergies - It sucks. But you'll see he gets better. The real downside is that anti allergic food was expensive as hell

becca, have you ever read the book Infidel, by Ayaan Hirsi Ali?
That'll give you some perspective on that sort of culture.
