I'm not; hence "casual".
If Dale and I want to be together, we have to get married. I'm making an exception for him

Go 1200 miles to the south of you and the surface temperatures are sometimes in the upper 70s and up - even in the winter. Last time I dove in Vallarta, I did so without a wetsuit. "Gringo loco", the crew all said. :p
I was just in Mex the other day, and someone called me "gringa loca", but I can't remember why...
I haven't gone in the water that far south in Baja, but I have on the Yucatan and Cozumel, a lot. That's some heavenly water. I could be in it all day. My fortieth birthday is in about a year and a half, and my plan, if I can get my finances straightened out, is to take all of my loved ones to Cozumel for my birthday and possibly a casual wedding reception.
Pssst... It's because you cray-cray.
Yeah, Yucatan and Cozumel are completely different current systems, obv. The gulf/Caribbean side of Mexico tends to have warmer water overall.

 you flatter me!
That's why, lately, if I'm gonna go to Mex, I'd rather go to the Caribbean, unless I'm on a cruise or something... although, I'm kind of scared of cruises these days...

Yeah, I hear ya. I've never been to the Caribbean side, but Jalisco, Nayarit, and Guerrero are like a second home to me, so I haven't really traveled outside of them.
Cruises aren't really my thing. I wouldn't mind trying one some time, but I don't really like the idea of only visiting a particular city for a day - you can't get to know a place other than very superficially that way. Plus I'd rather chill on the beach than on the Lido deck any day.

I don't go on cruises to immerse myself in culture, that's for sure. I've only been on two and they were both fun, but I felt a bit gluttonous and uncultured. I went on the same cruise twice, the first time partaking in things like ziplining in PV, and the second time letting the rest of my group go to shore while I sat on the Lido deck with a fruity drink, my iPod, and my Kindle.
The good thing about cruises is that you have yummy food at-the-ready 24/7. It's the only type of vacation in which I actually eat well because I'm not confined to when everyone else wants to eat. The bad thing is drinks aren't all-inclusive, and that gets expensive... oh, and the rigged gambling.
I think I've just convinced myself I don't like cruises!

This year has sucked, and it's all my fault. I went from passing all classes with above average marks to barely passing half of them (out of the total number of classes per schoolyear) - Right now I'm waiting for one more mark, and if it comes back 50/100 or above I still pass this year, I'll go to the final year of lawschool, but I need to finish and do the classes I've failed in the 3rd grade. If I don't pass this, I haven't completed enough classes to transition, so basically I'm stuck in the 3rd year of lawschool again with a few classes completed and I can sign up for a few 4th (final) year classes but I'll take one extra year to complete. I sincerely wish the fucker grades me 50/100, I think I wrote way too much in the exam, but I'm still hopeful.

Just got set up with an advance copy of a new romance novel from a certain bestselling author to review for my fledgling blog. It's set to come out in August so I guess I kinda have to jump on that.

Wondering if it's worth it to travel 2hrs to see snow for the first time with my daughter.
We don't have snow clothes.
I hear it's wet. I don't own anything that's waterproof, including shoes.
Not even gloves or a beanie.
It's a rare event.
I'm so undecided.

I waterproofed one pair of my shoes in preparation for snowy climes the first time I encountered it myself, but it was largely unnecessary; I could wear an un-waterproofed pair without getting terribly wet. It's less of a bother than you'd think.
But it will be cold. You can probably get by without gloves, but a jacket is a must. If you've got that, you should be fine.
