Yep. We picked her up in Seattle early this morning. I don't think she slept on the redeye flight at all, and it finally caught up with her.

Natural stressors associated with traveling (uncertainty, unfamiliarity), intense and emotionally charged fiscal quarreling the night before travel (certainly not a primer for good things), coming off a week or four of not accomplishing much of anything (not doing well generally)... then forgetting my hormone medication when I left home (missed only one round of them though... and the next was displaced by about 4 hours), and shattering my phone in a juggling contest with a clown made out of rapidly-melting frozen yogurt that cost WAY too much money (and had really awful service, which is probably no small part of the culmination of dropping my phone).
On top of all of those, of COURSE I didn't get much in the way of sleep on the fairly-short plane flight down here, and of COURSE I largely skipped breakfast and lunch, didn't brush/floss teeth, and all that other kind of tiny thing that you do in your everyday life that makes you feel better~ ^_^
BUT. Despite what I might have expected, and any bet that I might have made... I'm completely at ease, got my meds in me, got an utterly delicious full meal into me, and have had a wonderful time in the Vancouver-Portland area~ ^_^ I'm looking forward to doing it again tomorrow 
PS: I'll be getting my phone tomorrow. It'll cost me an arm and a leg, but it is something I really need. I have rather missed calling my Remarkable, and I'd really like to call me mum and dad, and assuage their fears/give 'em what fer/surely-not-tell-them-that-I-love-them.

I like it here though, the outside air... is so... fucking.... perfect :') If I believed in my sanity, i'd be happily out walking outside right now to buy Kitty-chan a birthday present to surprise her with when she wakesy upsey~
But, I don't believe in my sanity, it's the middle of the night, and I'd get quite lost enough without even the help of "getting lost" in the first place XD

Still, I wish I'd gotten more sleep on the way here, but this was just about perfect time to wake up for a few hours to finish off more of the sleeping needing doing with the salad tongs and to get my meds into me~   In about 30 minutes, I'm going to 70 to zero again~ ^__^

Are you headed somewhere colder?
Hot today in Berkeley. Should start cooling off over the next two days. I have plants in the garden that think they've gone to hell, which won't grow places that get 90F regularly.

Nah, it's a reference to my sleep-spikes. They'll drive me down on the floor and take me all night long, they will.
