Drink iced tea, no sugar. Black, green, white or herbal. There so sooooo many choices, it's astounding.

Coffee with a splash of milk. Good, rich, life-giving coffee.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Watching the new Netflix series "Master of None" with Aziz Ansari.
It is really fucking good. Any funny. Love it.

I think I'm coming down with a cold. Nose is a little runny, throat seems to be getting scratchy, and slowly worse as the day went on.
I'm almost afraid to go look for cold tablets, I think I might be out, and if I am, it's going to be a long night.

I don't understand these people who come out the woodwork to point out that "religious scripture is symbolic and shouldn't be taken literally" to atheists and secular-leaning religious people, who been realising this, but are then silent about religious fundamentalism and/or even support it. Just seems like selective outrage once again to me
This dude talks about "I want Islamic law for my country" and then in the same breath says religion shouldn't be taken literally. Which is it, babe? I don't think you can have it both ways.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie

Me, too. I'm getting that post-nasal-dripage that usually precedes me getting a cold, my nose is kind of runny, and I've been extra sneezey this morning, which is also an indicator for me. I woke up at 4am feeling kind of congested. It won't be long...
