Minimize your sugar consumption!!
If you don't want to read, just listen to this video:

DO check the labels on everything you buy.... I was shocked to find out that ketchup is 25% sugar.
Peanut butter is also a sneaky one that most people don't realize has a ton of added sugar. That's why I buy the specific brand of peanut butter that I do - because it's the least expensive no-sugar-added peanut butter the store I shop at sells (that's not in the "It's organic so we can charge you 400% more!" aisle).
I also used to eat a lot of yogurt which tends to have a lot of added sugar. Which sucks because I can't stand the sour taste of the plain stuff and no matter what I put in it (short of spoonfuls of sugar) I can't mask that taste.
I've started making my own salad dressings, but mostly because I've become addicted to a couple really fantastic salads and the dressings aren't sold in stores so I was recreating them. But store-bought salad dressings also tend to have lots of sugar. Store-bought sauces in general do.
There are some things that I eat that I just can't avoid sugar like choco-chip cookies (I'd give the cookie monster a run for his money) and hot cereals. I love steel cut oatmeal, and 10-grain cereal but only if I add a heaping spoonful of brown sugar. I feel okay doing this occasionally because I do make an effort to cut added-sugar things from my diet.
EDIT: I also squirt Hershey's Chocolate syrup into my coffee every morning. Can't give that up; coffee sucks otherwise.

Right now I'm plotting my revenge against my colleagues.
I'm the only Aussie on staff and, of course, the Kiwis won the recent Rugby World Cup, defeating Oz in the finals.
Been getting a lot of shit from them since.

Not to me. There are some things that are "sugar free" that are no different to me, but chocolate syrup isn't one of them. Neither are the flavor syrups.

Finally got my OS X El Capitan server running properly. Been working on it since the release date. OS X has become as bad as Windoze. Apple stripped the server GUI, which forced me into command line setups, file tweaking and permissions hell. It begs the question of the purpose of the GUI.

Wishing I could turn my frustration into my 'thrust ration'.
Yeah, if only I had the same mastery of females as I sort of do with language, I wouldn't have the time to come up with lame puns. Or the energy.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm wondering what possessed me to walk 45+ blocks instead of taking the bus like a sane person. Oh look, there goes another bus. Think I'll pass.
In other new Urban Skeletor is thinking selling both cars - yes, the Mustang too - and moving back into the inner city would be good for his non-existant soul.
So yeah, baked again.
