RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Last October, we had to vote for government in Portugal.
The right-wing coalition "won" with some 44% of the seats in our version of the House of Representatives, the
Assembly of the Republic.
Today, the remaining 56% of the seats, taken by left-wing parties, have voted on a motion to reject this government, as they are in a position to agree among themselves on certain key things, thus providing the country with a better supported government - a left-wing one (well, left-ish).
So, basically, now, there's no Government in Portugal.
The President (which is not a part of the government) must now decide who to nominate as prime-minister and then this prime-minister will gather the people who are to become the ministers.
This president, about a month ago, said it would be bad for the country to have a government in league with the more far left-wing parties, so there's a real possibility that he will just let the current government stand as a "management government", one that can't make any new agreements, or enact new laws... and must work with the same budget as last year, split into 12 monthly parcels.
I'm curious as to what he'll do... but I know that, regardless, it will have little impact on my day-to-day life.
