When I was in college, I was driving late at night in the mountains outside of the Catskills towards my house, and this... thing darted across the road in front of me. I wasn't going very fast, and I got a really good look at it. It looked a lot like that humanoid. So creepy. I didn't sleep much that night... come to think of it, I lived in a pretty creepy place, so I didn't sleep very well through most of those years.

It's nearly 5am and I'm still awake because I keep hearing weird noises that creep me out. Like I keep hearing what sounds like shuffling footsteps on my carpet, and last time I closed my eyes to try to sleep I heard what sounded like someone else's loud breathing in the room, and there have been some banging and clicking sounds from the kitchen, too. Stupid creepy flat/imagination.

For many years when I was younger, when I would try to sleep at night, I would hallucinate that bugs were crawling all over me. Was quite unpleasant and difficult. Thankfully, that hasn't happened in many years. I'm balls to the wall psychotic 24/7, 365 days a year, but I don't have visual or auditory hallucinations for the most part. Just during bouts of acute paranoia.

I am happy and content tonight. The stumbling block that was put before me, in which I agreed to care for this community and its members in a deep way, has been removed from my path. I'm such a stupid girl. I never stopped planning to kill myself, yet committed to care for the people here indefinitely. I don't know what strange bizarreness convinced me I could satisfy both goals, but I did let myself believe that "somehow" it would work itself out. And it has, The goddess has destroyed my attachment to this forum and its members, and I am freed to return to preparing to kill myself. I've basically, failing any better wisdom developing, decided to use a firearm. In my past attempts, I have been too timid in the amount of trauma I intended to do to my brain. A blast from a firearm through the meat of my brain should remove any doubt or chance of recovery.

When I'm the only one who experiences something I can only sleep by telling myself I imagined it, or my memory changed it because I was scared (one if which is probably true for the most part). It's times when I'm not alone and creepy shit happens that make me lose sleep. Lol
My poor little sister, when I was away back in March she was meant to look after the place for me while I was gone, but on the first night she went into the kitchen and saw my calendar swinging wildly on its nail on the wall with no apparent draught to cause it. She ran out the flat and didn't come back till I was home. Poor thing was terrified. Lol

APO - one go around this planet. Bringing it to a premature end is just plain wasteful. Get counselling. However reasonable your plan seems to you now things could change dramatically in a few months or years. Whole vistas of experiences could await that you would simply miss out on.

And all joking aside - there are many people on this forum that value you and your input very highly. I am one. However you now feel about this community members of same want you to stay alive and get well.

I was alone, but I later talked to my landlord and one of my neighbors, and I definitely wasn't the first person to witness that guy. No one knew what it was, exactly.

So funny about the swinging calendar. Unrelated to the strange humanoid, at the same time, I was living on a pretty old settlement. Shit used to happen at that place. A lot of people had died there, over a few centuries, and stuff happened all the time. I remember one night, I was hanging out at my neighbor's apartment, and we were all playing music and cards, and backgammon... someone would light a cigarette, leave it in the ashtray, and it would be gone. Just missing. It happened to ten or so cigarettes that night. On a daily basis though, cash would disappear only to reappear in strange places, like the medicine cabinet or the freezer. Oh! And my poor cat! She chased things all night long!

I wasn't aware of your mental conditions before bringing you into the staff team, but now that I know that, I feel sorry for you and I hope that you get better.

Shit like that happens here all the freaking time! When it's nighttime and I'm scared, my brain decides it's ghosts or monsters or pixies or something, but when it's light and I'm awake and rational, I just wonder what the fuck is causing this shit, you know? There's obviously a natural explanation, but what?

My sister and I actually recorded something creepy once. We were like 9 & 11 and we used to go on oir computer and record our own little radio shows, as you do when you're a kid. Anyway, this one time we were listen to what we had just recorded and we heard this man's voice in the background. My sister goes to me "Who's that?" And I was just like "That's just the TV." And we both looked at the TV then and saw that it was off and had been off the whole time. There was nowhere the voice could have come from. I got kinda excited and wanted to hear it again so I was about to rewind it and listen again, but my sister was terrified and snatched the mouse off me and deleted it. It's a shame, because even now I really want to know what was said. I wasn't listening properly the only time we heard it because I was listening to our voices and didn't think anything of the background noise till my sister noticed it.
