Bought myself a new office chair. It's vinyl, but meh. I got it at a local OfficeMax because I didn't want to order it from Amazon. Just finished putting it together.

Got another fucking 99% on an exam. C++ exam this time. I forgot a set of parentheses and lost a point.
Why is this so aggravating to me?

I was told tonight that I was being too hard on myself after I became very critical of the cut I did on my mannequin. Both my teacher and the senior teacher told me I did a very good job and had no errors but I still found a way to beat myself up. That's the thing--I'm not really mad at myself. 99% is a great score. This test was easy, but the other one in Discrete Maths was really hard, I mean the average score in the class was 74, with a sigma of 8, so I beat that thing by more than three standard deviations. I'd rather a 95% than a 99%. Both good A's. One is just a two pencil marks away from perfect...

Emergency Backup Cat #2 is on the floor in front of the TV stand. He again has slept most of the day, but apparently my derisive comments about his somnambulism has had an impact.
While he slept most of today, like yesterday, he instead, hid while doing it today. Most of the day he was on a chair under the kitchen table. Well, after supper, I pulled the chairs out, so he has spent the evening in the living room. Asleep on the floor. Good kitty! Good kitty ! The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
How old is he?
Might be on his last legs?
