I know, i'm not trying to complain or say i'm any worse off than anyone else, i just don't enjoy getting the shit beaten out of me, like today.

When I was 14, my 16 year old sister flipped a solid oak dining room table on me then proceeded to call the cops saying I was trying to kill her. Some sister, eh?

Okay, so here's what you do if you are tired of being beaten up.... brother has to go to sleep at some point, so get a mason jar (actually any clean jar with a lid will do)

Go to the basement and/or garage and find all the creepy crawly bugs you can. Put them in the jar. If your brother is like most people, he takes a shower at night right before bedtime. So you wait until he's in the shower and then dump all those bug into his bed and replace the covers.  Then leave the room.

I did this to my sister and she never picked a fight with me again. Not saying it will work, but it might because when he gets in bed, there will be all those bugs in there, just waiting for him

Well, we'll see what works after their visit, which is in between 2h45 and 5h45 from now. Problem seems to be the bathtub, which is potentially a bigger issue----then again, technically maybe not. I dunno. Would I rather have a jellyfish sting or a ray sting?

I finally finished with the hoops I've had to jump through (not my preferred hooping method) for my new job. After four interviews and two sessions with my group, they finally hired me and told me I had to get: state and federal fingerprints and background check, full physical, drug test, and the humdinger: a commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement, neither of which I'll ever use and after I failed three of the four written tests I had to take (three effing days at the effing DMV), I finally passed them all today. I get a three-day weekend, then start training at the new job on Monday.

It's been almost eight years since I've gone to a J-O-B. I've owned my own business, volunteered a ton, worked very part time from home, traveled, and had a crap-ton of fun... well... all except for the last, very shitty, year. I'm so excited and so nervous! I hope I can do this!

Now that I'm done with all of it, I'm relaxing. I wish I had ten bucks for a sixer. Luckily, my mom sent my paycheck early this month (yes, I work for her), so I'll have enough cash to take the bus to work on Monday.

Thanks, B! Nope- no shitty retail job! I'm working at a not-for-profit teaching high-functioning developmentally disabled adults how to make crafts we'll sell for a small income for them. It's kinda my dream job
