Nice garden. Kitty and I started an herb garden last month - lavender, rosemary, thyme, sage, basil, thai basil, mint, chocolate mint, and this lemony thing I can't remember the name of. I may plant some heirloom tomatoes next year.

Nice garden.  Kitty and I started an herb garden last month - lavender, rosemary, thyme, sage, basil, thai basil, mint, chocolate mint, and this lemony thing I can't remember the name of.  I may plant some heirloom tomatoes next year.

I'm in a townhouse now, but the back of it is where we park, so it's an 8 car parking lot. The grass is about 30 or so feet away from the house, on the other side of the lot. I don't think my landlord would let me plant a huge garden there, so I guess I'll wait until I buy my next house for that. I think I could try to plant herbs in some planters, but they'd have to stay outside, due to the kittens trying to get into the dirt and all.

I kind of wish I had put in less lawn so I'd have more room. Right now all I have is one 4x4 raised bed and ten or so pots. This yard just seems so tiny - it's like 5000 square feet, my last yard was 2.5 acres.

This is me hoping the neighborhood outdoor cats stay the fuck out of my herbs. . Little bastards like to cut through my yard and piss on my front lawn.
