As you can see from the pics, I have chicken wire around my garden. It was quite effective against critters.

Yeah my garden is ultimately going to be as much aesthetic as it is productive, at least the herb garden. I just have to figure out what I want to do. Chicken wire won't be much of an option then.

Still won't keep the furry fucks from marking my lawn.

The odd thing is, I don't think the cats have wised up to the fact that we have a few regular avian visitors since we put up feeders.

Either that or the birds are a lot smarter.

See...this is why I am against outdoor cats. Keep your damn cats inside because I feel guilty for shooting at them with my son's slingshot, but I cannot stand by and watch a birdie in peril.
