We had a big thunderstorm here today. It was a violent one, one of those where there's an almost continuous rumbling going on because it's happening in every direction.
Thought we were going to have another tornado

We had that here in Manchester, I had to run through it while in work and write a fuck loads of reports about the leaking and damage it caused in the workplace.
It looked really cool though, reminded me of rayden from mortal kombat.

I can't really see the lightning too well from my bedroom (shitty view with tall trees at the back of the garden), but we did have some quite close flashes I think and lots of hail too
It looked post-apocalyptic. It was sunny here until about 4PM, then it suddenly went really dark like it was getting dark early and within 15 minutes it came down on us.

Yeh I work in the countryside amongst a load of very old buildings. And it was the same here, the sky was totally blue then the blackest most evil looking cloud just slid over.

Heh... you should be at Epcot, near the giant golf ball made of metal when a storm passes over. The lightning is fine but the echo from the thunder is multiplied and makes it sound much worse than it really is.
