What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
It also alleviates my migraine medication side effects, helps with my asthma, boosts my mood, and many other things.

By far, my favorite flavor is blueberry.

I'm utterly and totally dependent on tea. I don't want to imagine a world without it.

I mean, of all the shit you can be 'addicted' to and need, tea and coffee to me seem like some of the least offensive.

Except for the whole exploitation thing. But at this point, I've realized I'd have to basically live like the Unabomber to avoid using products not tainted by exploitation. -_-

Fuck those people. My doctor actually encourages me to drink coffee because its benefits for my various issues and medication side effects far, far, FAR outweigh the 3 day hangover from quitting. I like coffee more than I like most people because of this.

Yay for passive-aggressively saying I'm stuck up! Clap

If any doctor encouraged me to drink coffee because of caffeine.... I'd go for Coke, or caffeine patches... or something that doesn't taste awful!

It really wasn't about you at all - it was about other people in my life. Unless of course, you treat it like a dependence.

I think it depends on my mood and the coffee whether I like it or not.

Well..... I do note that some people seem to depend on it to "properly" wake up.... but... usually, it's not the caffeine that makes them wake up... it's the coffee itself... like I said, it's a social thing, mostly... may have become a bit psychological, I don't know...
It is known that caffeine takes some half hour to do its thing.
If you feel "rejuvenated" or "awakened" right after drinking coffee, it's not the caffeine you're dependent on, for sure.

Ok, it may take half an hour do have its effect, but the psychological side of it as well as how the mere taste makes you feel can be instant and just as powerful.

Um, guys, do tell me if I'm intruding on your conversation here

Talking about dependence, I don't think I'm addicted but I really love Pepsi Max, it's great and delicious, regular Coke was my favorite, but this matches up, definitely. Also, the studies regarding the bad effects of diet sodas with aspartame in em' were very weak and not really correct. There's a swedish site owned by the governments, it's the #1 source for food in Sweden, it's extremely trustable and it deems aspartame safe. A 60kg person needs to drink 4L/day to get health risks from it apparently. But it's quite bad for your teeth.

Sugar, it ages you quicker and that, for me, was the nr 1 reason I reduced my intake.
