What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Your body responds to habits - sleep habits, waking habits, etc. It also responds to chemicals. Its complicated. [shrugs]

I feel it when I don't have my coffee. But while it's fun to joke about the side effects of the lack of it, it's not THAT bad, unless I were to get a migraine due to not having had it for a day. My whole point was that those aforementioned individuals who treat coffee like it's a highly addictive substance that they are morally superior for avoiding are fucking stupid.

I enjoy just about everything associated with coffee: the rituals of making, the drinking, the socializing, the solitude. I like the smell and flavor. I like its warmth. I appreciate tea to a lesser extent for the same reasons - especially a good strong cup of Irish Breakfast.

hehe.... I don't like the smell nor the flavor! Tongue nor the warmth...
Nor tea.

I'm way picky with what I drink... basically: water, juice, sodas..... not much else...
But not picky with what I eat - just keep spicy stuff away.

It's complicated!

Sitting here, staring at the screen. Maybe I need coffee. Or to go back to bed.

I didn't realize I had to address you directly instead of the whole class, EP. You weren't ignored, but you were pretty blatantly vying for more attention by insinuating you were butting into a conversation that really wasn't exclusive at all.

Agreed with tsq. Group convo. Not every single person needs to be acknowledged by the speaker (typer?) to still be participating.

I love tea, but it's been a diuretic for me. I love coffee (I really like Irish coffee) but it gets other things moving. Not pleasant. I used to love going to the local coffee shop in Brattleboro, VT and having a maple whatever (I forget names). I miss being young.

Espresso, cappuccino... anything that isn't too sweet. There aren't many places around here that make good espresso though. I'm looking at you, Starbucks.

Come to Portugal.... I keep telling you!
The espressos have their own name, here: "bica" (pronounced bee-ca) in the south, "cimbalino" in the north (after the italian machine they used, the Cimbali)

Listening to NYC radio, catching up on the Hoboken train wreck.
