VPN... virtual private network? How does that work then? Somehow it has an American IP address... to fool their site into thinking you're American? Is it basically a proxy server?

Haven't had two days off work since I went on vacay in August.

Just now recalling that Harry Connick, Jr. has his own talk show, after seeing a commercial.
