As much as I try I can't justify it (£79 a year) based on the free one day delivery - I have no problem waiting a few days for orders - or most of the content of prime video - b-list films and TV I've never heard of and stuff they probably couldn't pay people to watch. Just basically the equivalent of the free classics that the kindle provides. Anyway what swung it for me - at least to do the trial - was fancying an episode of x files and finding that all of it's available in prime. And then after that finding that they also have the walking dead. So there are a few big names in amongst the chaff... just enough to tempt suckers like me Big Grin but the question is, are those two box sets worth £79? I don't know...  or if I should just try and binge watch them in this free month. I doubt I'll stick with it because it just doesn't feel like a good deal, but see how it goes. At least I got to watch an x files and a walking dead tonight so worth doing the free trial at least I think.

My family seem to love Amazon Prime, and if they think paying £79 a year for a shitty streaming service with barely anything good on it, then good luck to them. I must admit though -- sometimes it is nice getting parcels a day or so early but most of the time I am patient and can wait.

I'll stick to my methods of obtaining my favourite shows.

I'm sure I'll be saying the same thing in a few months if I stick with it (except for the alternative methods Wink)... and that is one thing; my family can benefit from the free delivery and without a minimum spend I think... so that's one extra benefit. But tbh since I've just moved over to streaming, I think I'll be buying a lot less physical stuff from Amazon so that will make it even harder to justify. So I think I'll probably be dumping it but I can at least watch a few free episodes of stuff this month Smile

Bella, I've just seen that you edited out the part of your post that I just quoted. Do you want me to edit it out of my post as well?

Eta: never mind, it's appeared again.

Nah, it's no problem. I ended up adding it back in anyway.

Just leave it as is. Smile

I'm bored with netflix I have to say though. I feel like I've exhausted it so I'm preferring youtube at the moment. So that's why I was kind of branching out into Amazon prime.

Moving photos of the BSU at OSU game I took my dad to from the camera storage to the hard drive.

What a game. 31-7 at the half and there was a flood of OSU fans out the gates. OSU tried to make a game of it in the second half, but the thousands of BSU fans who attended made it a hostile stadium for them. Smile The final, 38-24, made the game look closer than it ever was.

I'll post some pics from the trip soon.

I stopped using Netflix when they started to block almost every known VPN service out there. Our version of Netflix isn't the worth money when you compare it to the content that Americans or Canadians can watch. Amazon Prime is by far the worst paid streaming service that I have ever used, there's almost nothing worth watching in my opinion.

YouTube is useful for documentaries and such.

Again, you people who are paying money when it is not needed........

primewire.ag is what I use, and I have no problems with it.

Ah well this is still all pretty new to me - relatively speaking - so I've got plenty of time to get pissed off with the system Wink I take it a VPN basically lets (or let... past tense) you access the American versions of netflix etc?

Don't worry... I think it's only me Big Grin but I come from the dark ages and have only just started streaming this year. I always take a while to catch up with tech. Case in point I watched a walk through of zelda on the snes this week on youtube... shows how much I'm living in the past Wink
