Every time I get out of my damn bed a fucking alarm goes off. Who thought that shit up? I'd like to throttle the motherfucker. Is it a general alarm for staff that basically says, "There's a patient coming, act professionally!" or just, "Another one's unplugged, pretend you care" Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? They're tracking you, man.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

To clear up the mystery, last night I became disoriented and dizzy and rapidly introduced myself to the flooring in my living room. (Hey, I'm gonna stop making fun of the "I've fallen and I can't get up" commercials now.) The cause is so far unknown but I'm stable and any remaining tests can be done outpatient so they're probably going to cut me loose tomorrow.
To confuse matters, I had bicycling accident on Saturday that doesn't appear to be connected. Of course that doesn't stop seventeen doctors from individually wanting every excruciating detail about the accident. If I get asked one more time if I know where I am and why I'm here I'm planning on answering "I'm in prison for strangling an overly inquisitive nurse". I jest, but seriously guys, I don't think I had a stroke, so stop asking kthxbai. Sitting here with My alto clarinet, going through all the reeds and strategically planing them with a scraping tool till they "speak" nicely . (For anyone who's into this kind of masochistic tinkering with itty-bitty slips of cane that cost about $3.00 each, the tool I'm using is called a ReedGeek, a block of hard steel with very sharp edges.)

I was wearing a helmet and didn't hit my head that I'm aware of. They did a CT scan late last night that apparently was negative.
That's good. Probably just an anomaly. Hope you get out of there soon, my man.
