Don't think so.  I was wearing a helmet and didn't hit my head that I'm aware of.  They did a CT scan late last night that apparently was negative.

Time is of the essence in fixing TBIs.  Let 'em poke and prod you all they want, we have enough decerebrates running around and wanting to be president as it is.

Keep in touch with the Neurology team at the hospital, CD -- Hopefully the dizzy spell was a one-time inner ear glitch or blood pressure drop, but if this happens again, though, get back to the hospital, STAT.

Good to hear that the CT was negative. They may have you do another one later, either before you go home or as an outpatient, to see if anything's different.

My money is on a low blood pressure. My BP tends to run on the low side for someone of my age and health to begin with.

A friend of mine has been ill now for weeks with something that sounds similar It started when he just passed out one day for no apparent reason, and he's done it a few times since. There's no clear diagnosis but he was critical that first time and they think it's something neurological but they have no idea what

Might be something you'd definitely want ruled out pretty quickly . . .

Good point... yeah I have another friend who started getting dizzy all the time, and it turned out to be something to do with his ear. His is also an ongoing condition with these very extreme attacks of something like vertigo and the room spinning, even if he's lying down. He just has to endure it best he can and make sure he's not driving when he's aware an attack's coming on... cos there's some sort of build up... he knows when it's gonna happen.

Cool.. I haven't seen any of those... and they're all available on demand are they? Which ones would you recommend? and which ones are most like Oz? Some association in the back of my mind is telling me that the wire might be but I'm not sure.
