What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Why do I find Scottish Highland dancing so funny to watch?

I'm sorry Scots, it just looks so silly I can't help laughing at it.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."

Loving Vice News Tonight.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Gee, I've missed you guys to pieces. Girl has been ripping and running, getting my groove on.
I've been working with a friend of mine in Ghana to put this video together for the book Alex K helped me get the scientific facts straight on this sci-fi fantasy novel.  I created the images and wrote the script , but my friend Oqwe Nortey did the voice over and composed the background music and put the video itself together.

I also redesigned my website to make it easier to read and mobile friendly.

as many of you who love me and like my work, please like and tweet my web pages. Thanks.

And...
I finished 1200 words of the sequel. A small novel would be about 70,000 words.

I'd like to share a chapter with you. Since Vorlon and Mh.brewer helped me to (we got us a bunch of geniuses over here at AF) I'd like to share with them what they helped me do.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

CD, I'm glad their doesn't seem to be a crisis. My father had bouts of dizziness and passed out a few times. After months of bullshit, turned out he had Lyme Disease.

If I was a woman I would be such a lesbian.

(Edit) Orange is the new black. It must be dyslexic Wednesday.

JFC, if I was a woman, I'd be doing double anal, double vaginal, double oral, one in each armpit, and 3 or 4 duds beating off on each of my feet, and maybe do it in a surgical theater type venue, and everyone in the bleachers could pee on all of us while we're doing it.
Yeah, that pretty much sounds awesome.

So I just got off the phone with my youngest daughter (age 25) and learned that she is likely going to Abu Dhabi in January to teach English to girls between the ages of 10 and 13. She hasn't yet signed the contract but plans to, pending a couple of minor points of negotiation. She would be signing on for a two year stint, though it sounds like that is somewhat flexible, and she would have the option to transfer to another country if she so chose. She is excited about the opportunity, and I'm excited for her. But . . .

Damn! Possibly two years halfway around the world? I'm very happy for her sake because I know that this could lead to some interesting and wonderful opportunities for her, but I feel a bit sad about it, too. She's still my baby. I can't help it.
