Making Supreme Leader Snoke such an unrealistic CGI character is not a good artistic decision to me.
Ooh this movie is so bogged down with references and reverence that it forgets to be a consistent movie in its own right. I guess if you're used to the prequels, it's a real step up though.

From the descriptions I expected Kylo Ren to be a weak part and silly, but to me he is actually pretty good.

The main problem with the movie is that it has too many similarities to New Hope. Hopefully episode 8 this year will be iriginal and not a rehash of Empire.
If nothing else it will be worth seeing as it's Carrie Fisher's last film. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" 
I will be disappointed if Episode VIII doesn't have a severed hand!
