What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
So, apparently I'm a closet blonde.

I bought a new battery for my car and put it on to charge.

This was mistake one as apparently they're already fully charged.

When I took it off charge a realised I had put the charger cables over the protective plastic pieces that sit over the connector part of the battery.

That was mistake two.

One more for a hat trick!

Is that like a rotation in the xy-Plane?

Pretty much.  Basically, aux+buy is the derivative of u(x,y) in the direction of the vector ai+bj.  Hence, introducing a new coordinate system, say v(w,z)=u(x,y) in the xy plane, allows us to take the characteristic lines of aux+buy (of slope b/a), which are bx-ay=d, and set w equal to bx-ay or w=bx-ay.  From here we define y=z, and x= (w+az)/b.  Subbing these values into aux+buy gives a(VwWx+VzZx) + b(VwWy+VzZy) (2).  Now, keeping Vw and Vz fixed, we get the following partial derivatives: Wx=b; Zx=0; Wy=-a; zy=1.  Plugging these partial derivatives into (2) gives a(Vw(b)+Vz(0)) + b(Vw(-a) + Vz(1))=abVw - abVw+bVz=bVz.  Now, plugging in aux+buy=bVz and u=v into (1) gives bVz+cv=f(w+az)/b, z).

Wow. There's so much fail there. Good thing you're puuurdy.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I'm flying to Melbourne in a few weeks.

That will be risky enough...

I just can't believe that I could be that idiotic.

Oh, well.
