May as well go and spend the night on the dunny with a bucket on my lap.

Horrible news from London. At least the way they're talking about it, it doesn't sound like another terror attack, which is what I thought at first. Just sounds like a horrible accident

Kiddo fractured her finger yesterday while walking the neighbor's (large) dog. Dog saw a squirrel and yanked on the leash and - voila. Neighbor came over to apologize and we told her no big deal. Stuff happens.
I've learned when a child is quiet after an injury instead of screaming bloody murder, that often means it's a more serious injury. Stunned by the pain, probably.
