Catching up on the forum. Coffee.

Something in this thread sparked the recollection of the dream I had last night. I seldom dream, and even when I do, I know that with the ephemeral nature of dreams, they're easily forgotten. So I expected to forget this one, despite my efforts to remember. I don't know why I wanted to remember it, other than that it's rare for me to remember dreams. Not to recount all the details, but the dream involved watching a man's flesh be stripped from him while he was alive until he died from it. Why I would want to remember that, I don't know. It's just very novel having the experience of "having had a dream" that I didn't want to let go of that feeling.
