March Madness. Murray State and WVU, from here (I'm not paying $80 for this).

Two crowns done this morning, gotta go back on the 4th for a bridge. It went well. When this dental adventure started back in December, I was extremely anxious about dentistry. I'm over it now after six times in the chair since then. Yay nitrous oxide and anxiolytics.
I did get back to the doctor today about my URI, which has not improved. His theory is it's a viral thing that ended up with a COPD type thing from decades of smoking cigarettes (I quit almost 3 years ago). Some Prednisone, Albuterol to open up my lungs and azithromycin as a prophylactic due to my history of pneumonia and such I'm sick enough I have smoked no weed in days. Edibles to the rescue. Yo, kids, cigarettes kill. Don't start. You'll regret it.
Getting ready to go out downtown with a guy I met recently. I haven't messed it up yet, I hope tonight's date goes as well as the previous dates.

Good on you for giving up the sciggies. In the Fireball family, on both side, anyone who smokes lives a lot less time than the ones who don't. Like dying at 58 or sooner, or dying at 88. My mother (dead at 65), dad (dead at 58) one younger brother (dead at 58) all smoked. My youngest brother quit smoking when he had laryngeal cancer at 50. Surgery, radiation, chemo. And it's coming back. ![]()
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
Just got back from dinner at Perkins. Drinking water, browsing the forum, and half watching the NCAA tournament.

Checked out an open-mic night. Listened to a few Irish-style folk tunes, got a headache, went shopping and bought a book of jazz solos.
Currently finishing up a sewing project.
Watching #16 UMBC lead #1 Virginia.

I hope I quit soon enough (47) to avoid lung cancer. I lost my stepmother to lung cancer a several years ago, and her sister is currently surviving the same so far. Both smokers for decades. Pat was not old. I have no desire to put my loved ones through watching me die like that. That die is already cast, however. Here's to better choices.
Also, Prednisone works like voodoo white magic on this shit I have. I can breathe! Dunno about sleep tho. LOL
