I've never taken the stuff myself, but I've typed literally thousands of medical reports in which it plays a role.  Sounds like "best thing since sliced bread, except for the side effects."

Yeah, I'm on it for only 5 days, precisely because of the risk.

As far as I can tell so far it appears to be a combination of magic and methamphetamine. They weren't kidding when they said it "might make you jittery". ;-/

I've been on that regimen a couple of times in my life. Not an enjoyable bunch of side effects, but I seemed to be OK with them up until the last time, when I got kind of hyper, but not badly so.

Fairly intense band practice this morning, as we're three weeks out from a jazz band performance and with spring break only have two more rehearsals.  I've been thrust into the terrifying position of having to work up my very best Cannonball Adderley impersonation, as none of the other altos want the solo in "The Work Song."





Fortunately we're not playing it that fast or that long -- more of a high school jazz band chart -- but *meep*
