What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
I've been invited to a client social.

It's called a "cinco de star wars day fiesta and quiz nite".

Mexican Star Wars?

I'm thinking of going as Juan Solo.

Other than that, my cholesterol was high and I've been put on Atorvastatin and a low dose aspirin regimen for that. I will have a follow up with a Neurologist hopefully within the month.

I would like to say fuck ...I'm so so sorry ... I would like to help somehow, but I'm just an ordinary human... without super-powers (and I regret it very much)sometimes I would like to be such a wonder woman and help anyone who needs ... but I'm only "KittyAnn" and all what I can offer you ...are hugs, kisses and listening ...!!! I hope that soon everything will back to normal and you will enjoy full health again !!
Lots of hugs my dear!!
Love you Heart

You are so very kind. I hope you know what a special person you are and how grateful I am to have you here.

Know that you are loved here too!

If you have any muscle ache or weakness, notify your doctor immediately. Atorvastatin caused me a lot of grief with that, and it took months to recover.

Can you expand on this so I know what I might be in for? Not saying it will happen, but I already have arthritis in my hips and left knee now as it is. If I might have issues walking or getting around, I might ask for something else.

What were your symptoms, if you don't mind me asking?

It's the weirdest thing, but imagine someone blowing up a balloon in your mouth at the same time, someone is pushing down on the roof of your mouth from above and there's lots of pressure everywhere in your mouth and your tongue feels like it is swelling up.

That and my mandibular went completely numb. It was symmetrical numbness affecting both sides at the same time so there's that. But it started Sunday night and when I got to up go to the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and saw that the left side of my mouth looked turned down a little. Not a whole lot, but enough that it was noticeable to me. Given my father's brain aneurysm in 1970 followed by numerous strokes (he survived all that and passed away 24 years later), I didn't know if this could have been spontaneous or genetic or what. Can't ask a man who died 22 years ago for his health history.

I also experienced minor lightheadedness and some nausea. My white blood cell count was up, but then it went back to a normal level. My LDL is high, hence the cholesterol med and the low dose aspirin I'm now taking.

Other than that - every test came back normal or negative.

In a PM, please. All kinds of HIPAA (?) issues with it on an open website.

Pfft.... I'm not that concerned. Given some of the pics I shared in Slack, If someone wants to pay my hospital bill because of info they got from here... have at it.

Possibly a migraine.

The reason I asked is I've had migraines with symptoms similar to what you've just described (not for a number of years now, thankfully).

Good that you're seeing a neurologist.

Got my first migraine at age ten. I take Imitrex injections for those. This definitely wasn't a migraine. But that's not something I had thought of so it's good to see other's suggestions with this.

Watching "The Minneapolis Miracle" on TV for about the hundredth time. I get a chuckle every time I watch that play.
