All packed for my trip to an astronomy convention. Packing two computers (a tablet to travel with me for messaging, and a Chromebook for actual typing back at the hotel), and a standalone digital camera so that I can get lots of pics on Monday's geology/paleontology romp out to the Alberta Badlands.

Just tried Playing the DVD-Rs of the Westworld season finale my Dad made for me yesterday. They weren't finalized, so I couldn't actually play them.

Scratch that, Dad finalized them, so now they're playing. 10 minutes in, so far so good. And fast-forwarding to the bit a little less than 40 minutes in where I gave up the past three times I tried to watch it, the glitch is no longer there. Repeat, The glitch is no longer there!

Avoiding adulthood.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
