Spent the better part of an hour negotiating with the goddess Anoia as I tried to assemble an IKEA filing cabinet.  One particular bolt simply refused to go where it was supposed to go while I was attaching a drawer to a drawer slide. A lot of muttering and a few cautious scrapes with a sharp knife, and it finally "took."

Just got back from seeing a couple of great bands.
Smoked some dope before we went in and some after.
Swigged a couple of mouthfuls of scotch when I got home.
Feeling warm and fuzzy.
I got a glass of port and a hot coffee, taking turns sipping from each.
Next band I'm seein is 'Regurgitator' in Brisbane in August.
Nother band some of you might not have heard of but a fucking good band.
I'll be asleep in halfa. Not getting any younger. :-)

Finding that I can downgrade my cable service to basic cable, pair it with SlingTV, and get all the channels I want including the NFL network and Twins baseball, and save $30 a month on my cable bill. I'll have to give up WeTV, which broadcasts a lot of good crime shows, and FreeFormTV which has good movies, but if I end up missing those, for $20 more I can get them on Playstation VUE instead of SlingTV.

Haha! Fuck you, Comcast!

(Oop, I'll also miss Monday Night Football on SlingTV. C'est-la vie! I'll probably get NFL GamePass anyway, so I can watch it on Tuesday.)
