So your insurance company ponied up the money? I've had State Farm for over 40 years, and have never had a problem with them.

My agent takes care of me.
Good agents are priceless regardless of the name brand.

Haha! Fuck you, Comcast!
(Oop, I'll also miss Monday Night Football on SlingTV. C'est-la vie! I'll probably get NFL GamePass anyway, so I can watch it on Tuesday.)
Unless you're in a really crappy coverage area, you should be able to pull in the MNF broadcast over the air.

Monday Night Football is on ESPN, which isn't available OTA. I think you may be thinking of Sunday Night Football on NBC. I can't get that OTA either because I live on the south side of a high rise apartment building, and the transmitters for OTA television are all to my northeast. I have an entire building between me and them, blocking the signal. There is a roof antenna which yields a coax connection in each apartment, but it's spotty on local channels, and I don't get NBC that way at all.
Just signed up for the trial of SlingTV and PlaystationVUE TV. Watching it through Chrome web browser, the NFL channel runs a moving ticker tape at the bottom of the screen. Through a web browser, the ticker is smoother on PlaystationVUE ($45/mos.) than it is on SlingTV ($25/mos.). Maybe I'll get used to it, or maybe it will be better on the Roku I plan to order. Will have to see.

Actually, I was thinking of the only MNF games I ever watch. By contractual agreement, all the local team games have to be televised on a broadcast channel so the Broncos, when they're on MNF, are on channel 9.
I did completely forgot MNF was moved to ESPN.

Bummer. I could have bought my Roku from Walmart, and gotten it on Tuesday, but Amazon had a three year extended warranty from Roku shipped and sold by Amazon for $2.50. Unfortunately, Amazon is back ordered, so they won't ship it to me until the week following next Friday. So I'll be watching TV on the computer for about a week.

Finished assembling my new desk and dismantling and donating most of the old one. Upgraded to a better tabletop, about a foot longer and solid bamboo instead of a hollow slab of laminate. I now have a stack of actual drawers, including one suitable for file storage, so most of the assorted crap from my desk is now stowed away out of sight.
Due to planned office renovations I set up the new desk in the larger part of the 2nd floor study -- but then I needed to run out and get a 25' Cat5 cable. I have no idea what I did with the mass quantities of long network cables I used to possess; probably gave them away because no one needed anything longer than a 10' cable. (2nd and 3rd floors are hard-wired with Cat5 drops in three rooms, and my desktop system was previously only a couple of feet away from the Ethernet switch/router.)
Also dusted everything. There are currently two stuffed toys sitting happily in the nice, clean printer output tray: Pusheen the Cat, and a Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog (a.k.a. Wensleydale, the Cable Management Rabbit, who holds USB cables in his fierce jaws).
Oh, and it's bloody hot outside today -- currently 32°C at 7:30 p.m. in Winnipeg, with a Humidex of 44. Waiting for another hour or so before I go to the bookstore for a coffee and a sweet.
