Practicing SE on twitter with some Trump supporters following the #QuestionsForTrumpDefenders hashtag. So far it's about 50/50 whether the conversations are productive or not. Had some interesting back and forths with a couple of people last night. The ones that have carried on into this morning are the "b-b-b-but Clinton! b-b-b-b-but Hillary!" ones that are decidedly less productive. Still, it's interesting.

Brian Boru will be pleased to know I finally got around to doing that review of A Monster Calls for Anglotopia (since Jonathan somehow neglected to post my article on the latest Glastonbury buzz for over a week). It should be published sometime this week (ideally, tomorrow morning).

Also, I spent some time looking for shoes. Last night, when we went to see Jonny Lang and Buddy Guy at Ravinia, he noticed that my shoes were really worn out (they're about three years old; they had a good run, I reckon.) So, we finally bought a pair of leather Skechers. It can be really difficult to find shoes, partly because I'm very particular about the type of shoes I'm into (definitely slip-ons due to my distrust of shoelaces, preferrably Black because I like it), and partly because, well, one of my feet is bigger than the other. By a full size. My left foot is size 11, my right just a hair above size 10. And it takes an 11.5 for them to actually fit.

I've been working through a pile of old NaNoWriMo manuscripts, retyping and revising one of my stories. My style has cleaned up a bit since I first wrote the piece, but the basic story line (as warped as it is) has endured.

The latest conversations have progressed to "Hillary didn't have to divorce Bill but if she were self-respecting she would have. That she didn't tells me she had political motives for staying with him." and "The left views the Constitution as a road block to implementing their worldview of universal healthcare and taking away everyone's guns."

Watched a shitload of videos about dismantling my Rinnai 26 tankless hot water system

Here in Aus we just call them instant hot water systems.

So many bugs get sucked in, chopped up and sent to the combustion chamber where they block the gas burners and run unreliably.
Why didn't they just put a metal wire mesh filter or something on the air inlet to stop crap getting in

Wish me luck, it could be an all day job.
