Most parts on old cars that need changing are the sheetmetal parts (rust).
They are pressed (stamped) using huge arse presses .... nothing I can make myself...

The stupid thing is that NOS parts (New Old Stock) are very rare and very expensive.
Most sheet metal these days are made in China. They are notorious for bad fit if you don't buy from a reliable source.

Did you know you can build a brand new classic mustang from all new parts? amazing.
You buy a full body from US Dynacorn and all the bits from hundreds of suppliers.
Once you build it, the vehicle is registered as a brand new (2018) model. (like a kit car)...

My model (71) has never played well with the earlier mustangs. They all say that by 71 the mustang got fat and heavy and lazy.
And that's probably true ... But 71 was also the best and last year for big muscle in the States.
There was 8 engine choices alone! How many choices do you get today? It's basically: "You want petrol or diesel?"

Getting physical therapy for my back and occupational therapy for my right hand and arm. Also have an ultrasound scheduled for my right hand and arm as well. Evidently I also have arthritis in my C4-C5 joint on the right side which is causing a pinched nerve.

Contemplating a reply to an email about a different job. It's much (much, much, much) closer to home, but they're looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year experience so I don't think the pay is gonna be what I'm used to.

Still, for the chance to turn my 3 hour round trip commute into 20 minutes (10-15 if/when they ever get the bypass finished) it may be worth a chat with them.

Just had a dream that I went to a party with a bunch of bikies.
It was at the Hustler Mansion and the head bikie had invented an amazing machine but I didn't know what it was.
So I stole it and when I got home and plugged it in it was just a heat lamp.
When I woke up I'd kicked off my covers during the night and was freezing.

Gonna be busy AF starting tomorrow.

This week I have written proposals for four new projects, one of which is fast tracked for completion of documents and permit application by August 1.

Tonight I have to start moving garage sale stuff (include some big furniture items) to my parents for a garage sale this weekend and I haven't even finished going through all of my stuff yet.

Next week my project manager is back and she'll need help while I'm trying to blast through design for my fast tracked project.

Next weekend is my quarterly HOA meeting so I'll have meeting minutes to write up.

The week after that my sister is coming home from a year in Ireland.

Every Friday until mid August I have at least two appointments.

And somewhere in between all this shit I'll be having emotional breakdowns because the anniversary of my diagnosis is happening on the 25th.

I kind of feel like this right now:
