Checking out my new TV situation. I now get local channels in SD. I don't know that I like that. During football season, I may bump my streaming account to Playstation VUE so that I get Monday night games on ESPN and HD content on my local channels (which will broadcast some games). Fortunately my Roku streams Fox channel, which broadcasts the bulk of the Vikings games. I figure the Roku will take three months to pay for itself, after which, if I'm unhappy, I can switch back to cable for $30 more a month. (Of course, now that I've downgraded my cable subscription to basic channels in SD, now they're offering me packages that I can afford. Fuckers.)

Looking out my office windows and contemplating how easy it would be to shoot passers-by.

If only I weren't banned from ever owning any "non-professionally required item that can be used to kill, maim, injure, or otherwise cause physical harm to an individual or group".

Fortunately, they don't know what I can do with a sponge.

And it doesn't mention emotional injury...

That's a fairly broad reaching and nondescript statement open to wide interpretation(s). Sounds like to could be applied to a car, or a bottle of bleach.

Woke myself up with a headache and a sore throat. Waiting for the Excedrin migraine meds to kick in so I don't have to give myself a shot.

If that was the cure for migraines, my pantry would be fully stocked with all different flavors.

Sadly, no, I meant Imitrex Sumatriptan.The pill form doesn't work on me so I have to give myself a shot in the leg.
